Ephraim Alberto

I was born in Colombia and have been living in NYC for 5 years. With more than 15 years of experience in the jeans industry, I specialize in the design and production of premium denim pants. I have participated in several trade shows as an exhibitor and have worked as a designer of washing processes and marketing consultant for various companies in the industry, including industrial laundries, pigment laboratories, and denim fabric companies. I am the creative director and founder of the Strada In Voga brand

What we do

Design and development of jeans and twill pants, starting at 7.5 oz under the full package business model. The development process involves research and sourcing of fabrics and trims, screen printing and embroidery, sample making, quality assurance at all stages, store-ready packaging, and delivery from our warehouse to customer distribution centers

Production

Our general production capacity is around 1.5 million garments per year or 4000 daily units for the sewing and finishing process. We use modular and linear production systems with state-of-the-art technology. Our laundries offer pigments, resins, destroyers, hand sand, laser, garment dyed, 3D whiskers, wrinkles, chevrons, holes, ozone, core machine, etc.

Strategic location

I work with Colombian companies located in Medellín, a city that has established itself as one of the strongest places in the region for clothing businesses. This is due to a common vision and a collaboration chain strategy that allows many companies to align in a city cluster that connects everyone, from textile suppliers that provide high-quality fabrics, to different providers of metallic decorations, labels, and everything that brands need to produce in one place.

The strategic location in the center of the continent and the possibility of embarking from two different oceans are key to achieving better logistical results, that impact the operation with cost efficiency and time-saving. Additionally, the bilateral free trade agreement between the United States and Colombia is an advantage
